
Slow Cooker Pumpkin Beef Chili
Ingredients
1.5 lbs of ground chuck
1/4 cup of diced onion
1 can of pumpkin puree
1 can of black beans
2 cans of chili beans
1 8oz can of tomato sauce
2 Tablespoons of Carolina Bob's All Purpose Seasoning Original Recipe
Shredded Cheese or your choice of additional toppings
Preparation
Step 1: Brown the meat with the chopped onion.
Step 2: Stir in seasoning and transfer to a slow cooker, and then add the remaining ingredients. You may or may not drain the beans, as you prefer. If you do drain the beans, you should add at least 1 cup of vegetable or chicken broth to the pot.
Notes: Add more broth for a soupier chili. Cook on low for 4+hours. Spoon into bowls and
top with shredded cheese or other favorite toppings.
No Salt Recipe: If you are avoiding salt, you can follow this recipe and use 2 Tbsp. of Carolina Bob's Low Salt All-Purpose Seasoning, or our No Salt with a kick of Cumin Seasoning. Choose no salt black beans, organic chili beans, and no salt tomato sauce.
